Easy to breed, settle, & kid out, never had to assist birth. She is a great mother, easy to catch, friendly, food motivated, and has been milked by hand. Her udder is VERY similar to her mother with everything in the right place. This doe is incredibly wide thurl to thurl (rear), spitting out breech kids with little to no effort in 2024. She has tight attachments and snug rear udder with open orifices for effortless & quick milking. She just needs more time for maturity like her dam did. I'd rather her go to a farm that will show her, LA her, and further utilize her genetics. This doe has potential for great things in different management or else I wouldn't offer her. I have an older doe who is relative to her as well that is staying in the herd. 

Due to my broken hand, she was dried off early (like the rest of my herd in 2024) and photos weren't appropriately taken of her for that season.

Easy to breed, settle, & kid out, never had to assist birth. She is a great mother. She is not in your pocket due to being dam-raised, but is food motivated and will jump onto milkstand and stand well when milked. She has been milked by hand. Hardy and easy keeper when it comes to her health. Her udder height, udder texture, attachments, large orifices, overall udder appearance and milk production is wonderful.
I truly love this doe so much for all the potential she has and brings to the table, but she doesn't fit here personality-wise (fear of my son) and doesn't care for humans, but again once caught is efficient at her job. She is closely related to the biggest and most impactful animals of my herd, but has yet to give me any doelings to retain... so this is an extremely hard listing to make (& could change depending on kid result).

We are listing this doe mainly because she is too bonded to her dam and needs to be removed from our farm. Despite the fact that this doe is a massive improvement over her dam, we can't bring ourselves to part with her dam. We have happily kept beautiful doe kid(s) from Mel!
 In 2024, Mel was a yearling FF (13mon old) with one doe kid. Despite being previously weaned, Mel's dam chased and encouraged her to nurse (caught on barn cam). Sadly, a month later when Mel had her first freshen, Mel began to self-nurse. I fully believe their bond was the cause of the behavior. Due to my broken hand, she was dried off early (like the rest of my herd in 2024).
 She is being offered with papers to a new home with FULL disclosure of this issue. She is a VERY nice doe with only 2 conformational nit-picks: Hocks in, & needs stronger pasterns/feet. Otherwise I truly adore her and a change of scenery for her could make her behavior change. Any new homes potentially interested in her should plan to keep her in a dog-cone while in milk. We have not seen her bring herself back into milk once dry and cone removed, nor nursing before her 2F kidding. When in a cone, she's not a problematic animal.

This sweet doe is from Nessie's first daughters and our first retained doelings. She shares a lot of strengths and general appearance/style with Nessie. Her paternal sister had a fantastic udder, which makes me very excited to see this one! Suzi is a color-combo of Buckskin and Swiss, meaning she will throw either (doesn't carry black). She also has and adds extra flash to kids with the roaning and frosting.
Suzi is a slower to mature doe, that sadly won't compete well in the show ring due to being smaller. She will be a first freshener in 2025, after retaining any potential doelings and will be ready for a pet/non-breeding home. She loves kids!

"Cherry" is incredibly sweet and already has show experience, placing 5th in her first show in a competitive class May 2024 at four months old. Despite being young, she has an impressive & notable depth of body for her age. She has wide, tight shoulders & notable brisket extension complimenting her leg placement being directly under her. She is very level across the topline, with a well-blended neck into the withers. She has a wide rear and incredibly wide chest floor. The udders behind this doeling are extremely notable! Rosasharn makes up most of the sire's lineage with linebreeding on some of their best animals! Old Mountain farm is heavily on her dam's side. She is super friendly.
