Family trees

Below showcases individual dam line's and their family trees within our herd.

Humble Beginnings...

This line was previously referenced as the "Nessie Line" and oftentimes we still reference it as such, because for us... she's the one who started it. When we had the chance to add Old Mountain Farm CorazonQuinn to our herd, we did not hesitate due to our love for her daughter, Inky Squids Nessie. Unfortunately, we didn't have any more offspring from her, but we enjoyed owning her and eagerly got photos of her to compare with her descendants in the future.

Inky Squids Nessie has been an extremely important doe to our herd and is the last "original" goat from the start of our small herd and has contributed the most to our herd's legacy. Production, Power, Longevity are easy strengths Nessie showcased and also provides her progeny. At the time of writing this Nessie is also the mother to our first ever JR GCH awarded homebred doeling, Karma who snatched the achievement at her 2nd ever show.

In addition, Old Mountain Farm Bravo Quinn +*B is the grandsire (dam's sire) of Onaqui AE Renna, and he is also the great-grandsire of The WMAF RB Spidey through her dam's side. Making them and any offspring slightly related to Inky Squids Nessie... which was not intentional... but goes to show how much owning Nessie has impacted our herd.

Unexpected love at first sight...

This is another very beloved line for our family and again another stepping stone for our herd's legacy and future. The WMAF BRC Mirabelle's lineage was consistent with traits I was seeking. What really caught my eye was the breeding resulting in her dam and dam's 2 littermate sisters. Sadly Mirabelle's dam passed, making any additions I was seeking to make happen, coming from those sisters.

Our first daughter from Mira, Simply Dunn Farm Meliora was eerily like her dam in the ways I adored, with slight needed improvements. Then discovering her promising FF udder as a yearling, really had my heart soar.

At the time of writing this we have multiple close relatives of this line within our small herd. We also have some members that could allow some future and possible linebreeding such as:  The WMAF RB Myra* and her future progeny in our herd.
